Week Twelve

July 17 - July 23

Monday - Cycle 25km,Yoga Class at Apollo
Tuesday - Run 7km at gym, Cycle 15 km
Wednesday - Run 2km, Cycle 2km, PT Weights Session, Swim 40 lengths
Thursday - 26km cycle at gym
Friday - 6.25 km run at gym, 36 lengths swim
Saturday - Hockey cancelled
Sunday - Yoga Class at Apollo

Every morning 15 minutes of yoga



Workplace Wellness


I work at Breens Intermediate School, and besides the usual colds, it is a pretty healthy place to work. There are at least six staff in a running club and regularly do half marathons. Also quite a few play a sport. The DP and Principal have changed their office and now have standing desks.


The Trouble Tree


I loved this story of the man who left his worries on a tree outside his house each night and when he left for work the next day they had reduced.

Similar to one of my students who attends outside counselling. Each session she gets to shout, "Goodbye Anger!!" and it disappears until her next session.


Caffeine


Caffeine is a stimulant. I have to watch the amount of tea I drink.Tea has between 15 - 50mg of caffeine. Not so much as coffee but still quite a bit. I try to substitute tea with herbal tea or miso soup.
